Shane Miller, 32, Galena, Kan., the alleged masturbating mailman, pleaded not guilty this morning in Jasper County Circuit Court to a misdemeanor charge of sexual abuse in the second degree.
The next hearing in his case is scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 12.
Miller is represented by Joplin attorney Phil Glades.
According to the probable cause statement, Miller, who was working for the U. S. Postal Service at the time, delivered the mail to a Joplin business and then performed a sexual act in front of the business' employees.
