Police, fire chiefs to appear on Joplin Insider program

The new public safety training facilities in the City of Joplin are the focus of the upcoming “Joplin Insider” program airing on KGCS-TV.  The program features Joplin Fire Chief Mitch Randles and Joplin Police Chief Lane Roberts, discussing how the facilities will assist their departments.   “Joplin Insider” is hosted by Joplin Public Information Officer Lynn Onstot.
 “There are so many programs and activities going on in the City of Joplin, and “Joplin Insider” provides residents another opportunity to learn about their city,” says Judy Stiles, KGCS General Manager.
 The program will air the following times in the next two weeks, with repeat airings planned throughout the month:
 Tuesday, Nov. 12 – 6 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 14 – 5:30 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 18 – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 19 – 6 p.m.
 KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink.  The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
