The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported Structure Fire at 4001 Woodcrest Ct at 5:31 PM, Wednesday, 02 February, 2014.
Fire crews arrived on the scene at 5:37 to find a small storage shed approximately 100’ from a residence with light smoke showing from the eaves. Crews used a preconnect line to extinguish a hay bale burning just inside a garage door. Crews remained on scene until 6:07 PM, Wednesday, 05 February.
No injuries were reported to either fire personnel or others in the area. Six Joplin Fire units and 17 Joplin Fire personnel responded, however all but 1 fire unit were cancelled enroute due to the small size of the fire.
