Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:20 p.m. today on MO 175, eight miles north of Neosho.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Kia Rio driven by Michelle Palisay, 52, Joplin, was stopped for an animal in the roadway and was struck in the rear by a 2001 Nissan Sentra driven by John Elliott, 58, Neosho.
Palisay and a passenger in the Elliott vehicle, Harry Notbusch, 58, Neosho, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
