This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Excessive cold risk.
  Limited Snow risk.

DISCUSSION...

A band of light snow will continue through the early morning hours
mainly along and south of US Highway 60. A dusting of snow is
possible in a few locations. Some locations will only experience
flurries.

Wind chill values early this morning will range from around zero
to as cold as fifteen below zero.

Wind chill values late tonight into early Monday morning will
range from 10 below zero to 25 below zero. These wind chill
values are very dangerous to those outside and precautions will
need to be taken to minimize the risk of frostbite.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Wind chill values Monday night into Tuesday will range from five
below zero to twenty below zero.

Wind chill values from five below zero to ten above zero can be
expected at times from Wednesday through Friday.
