Weather hazards expected... Significant fog risk. Limited ice accumulation risk. Elevated snow and sleet risk. DISCUSSION... Areas of dense fog will continue this morning across portions of southern Missouri. Visibilities may drop below one quarter mile at times and vary drastically over short distances. Some ice may form on elevated surfaces and bridges where dense fog is persistent and temperatures are below freezing. Rain will spread into the area by late afternoon and evening. A light wintry mix will then be possible this evening and overnight as temperatures drop to freezing. Snow is then likely overnight mainly north of Highway 60, lasting through Wednesday morning. Warmer areas near the Arkansas border may see all rain or a mix of rain and snow Tuesday night. Locations across southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas will see up to 1 to 2 inches of snow by Wednesday morning, with lesser amounts along the Arkansas Border. This snowfall may impact the Wednesday morning commute. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Light snow will end from west to east late Wednesday morning.
