Carl Junction man injured in collision on Blackcat Road

A Carl Junction man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 2 p.m. Monday on Blackcat Road, a mile and a half south of Carl Junction.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Toyota Highlander driven by Jack M. Bell, 84, Carl Junction, struck the trailer being towed by a 2015 Ford F-350 driven by Fred F. Kiser, 82, Joplin, traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Bell was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
