A Fort Scott, Kansas, man was injured in a single-vehicle accident 9:50 p.m. Saturday on Maple Street south of Asbury.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Suzuki C50 motorcycle driven by Earl L. Brown, 67, Fort Scott, struck a deer in the roadway.
Brown was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
