TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Traffic Delays When Rt 160/Spring River Bridge Converted to Single-Lane Oct. 4

Where: U.S. Route 160 bridge over Muddy Fork of Spring River approximately three miles north of Golden City in Barton County

When: 8 a.m., Monday, October 4

What: MoDOT crews will reconfigure bridge as a single-lane bridge to improve safety. Crews will restripe the bridge and install signs telling drivers to yield to oncoming traffic.

Traffic Impacts

Expect lane closures while crews are restriping bridge and installing signs

Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working

Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
