A Granby man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 7:10 p.m. Saturday on Otter Drive, four miles east of Neosho.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Dodge Ram driven by Curtis L. Shipers, 34, Granby, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Shipers, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving, and a passenger, Jay T. Putnam, 57, Granby, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
