11/08/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Gulf Street at two businesses for past tense burglaries. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Cody Haggard on 11/08/2021, who was charged with 3 counts of 2nd degree burglary a (3rd charge was for previous burglary in 1200 block of Cherry) and resisting arrest.
11/08/2021 Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of W. 9th for an assault that had just occurred. Suspect was taken into custody for Domestic Assault 3rd degree and placed on a 24 hour hold.
11/09/2021 Officer was called to the 600 block of for a report of trespassing. Suspect was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail where she was issued summonses for trespassing and disorderly conduct. She was booked and released.
Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Oak St. for a domestic assault. Suspect was arrested for Domestic Assault and transported to the Barton County Jail for 24 hr hold for investigation and warrant.
11/13/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of W. 12th St. for a report of shoplifting.
Suspect was arrested and placed under arrest for Shoplifting. He was also arrested for a Felony Assault on another case. He was transported to the Barton County Jail for the charges. The second suspect was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Lamar. She was transported to Barton County Jail where she posted bond and was released.
11/14/2021 Officers were notified of a report of a careless and imprudent driver coming in to town from I-49. After pulling in behind the suspect vehicle and observing driving behaviors, the vehicle was stopped. The driver was transported to the Barton County Jail and processed for driving while intoxicated.
