Dynamic Message Sign Upgrade Project Planned for Several Southwest Missouri Counties Beginning the Week of December 6
Southwest District – Drivers can expect shoulder closures and possible lane closures when a Dynamic Message Sign Upgrade project begins along I-44 in five (5) southwest Missouri counties and at various locations in Greene County, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Eastbound at mile marker 1
Westbound at mile marker 5
Eastbound at mile marker 10
I-44 in Jasper County:
Eastbound at mile marker 17
Westbound at mile marker 17

Westbound at mile marker 39

I-44 in Greene County:

Traffic Impacts
Shoulders will be closed where crews are working
Possible lane closures where crews are working
Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
Weather and/or scheduling delays will alter the work schedule.
