(From the Jasper County Sheriff's Office)On Friday, January 21, 2022, Jasper County Deputies responded to a check on the welfare of a 13-year-old female juvenile who was reported missing out of East Prairie, Missouri.
During the investigation, it was found that 19-year-old, Grant Henson (top photo) had driven 5 hours to East Prairie, Missouri where he picked up the 13-year-old girl and drove her back to Jasper County to his residence located at 4183 W. Cactus Lane in Joplin where she was held against her will and sexually assaulted.
Grant was arrested and charges were filed by the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for Kidnapping 1st and Sodomy 1st. There is no bond for Grant.
Also discovered during the investigation, Bryan Henson, 22, was found be with a 16-year old female juvenile at the residence on Cactus Lane. Bryan was arrested and charges were filed for Statutory Rape 2nd with a $100,000 bond.
