A Nevada man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:45 p.m. Friday on Gum Road, three miles east of Carterville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by James L. Thomas, 23, Nevada, ran off the roadway on a curve and struck multiple objects in a yard.
Thomas was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
