Springfield Fire Department Bomb Squad investigates suspicious package at Webb City business

UPDATE: 12:00 hours 10/16/23) the situation has been safely resolved and Murphys USA has reopened for business. 

We appreciate the Springfield Fire Department’s Bomb Squad and the Webb City Fire Department help in resolving this so quickly & safely.

Currently officers are investigating a suspicious package left at Murphy USA (1224 South Madison) in Webb City. 

Murphy USA is the only business affected. Other businesses in the area are unaffected & open for normal business.
