Due to proactive police work by the Carl Junction Police Department and Newton County Sheriff's Office, two suspects have been arrested in Newton County in connection with a series of thefts.
The individuals arrested are Bethani K. Wald, 30, and Jace M. Burris, 24.
Both suspects were found in possession of stolen property in Newton County as part of an ongoing investigation. Charges will be sent to the Newton and Jasper County Prosecutor's offices.
These arrests follow at least five reported thefts from vehicles in the southern part of Carl Junction committed in the early morning hours of October 18, 2024.
Authorities have been able to recover a significant amount of stolen property. The success of this investigation would not have been possible without the assistance of the Joplin Police Department.

ReplyDeletePraying for Bethany, she is a beautiful woman of faith, she just seems so lost right now. I pray she finds her way back home to God and her son. I knew her when she work for a faith based organization and deep down that same girl is in there she just needs to cry out to God.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how this loser is still out on the streets after 10 years of meth and Theft. His father is a POS Thief, a liar, scumbag everything that he's taught his wonderful son. And don't forget his daughter robbed her grandfather for several thousand dollars whilst living on his property in a home that he owned. When is the justice system going to kick in and take these thieves and lowlifes off the streets. Are judicial system is a joke right along with the police that keeps these people on the streets
