Sarcoxie woman, Wyandotte man suffer serious injuries in off-road vehicle crash, driver cited for DWI

A Wyandotte, Oklahoma man was cited for felony driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 5:40 p.m. Sunday on MO 86 three miles east of Cassville.

According to the Highway Patrol accident and arrest reports, a 2023 Can-Am Maverick driven by Todd W. England, 57, Wyandotte, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a sign and overturned.







A passenger, a 45-year-old Sarcoxie woman, was flown to Mercy Springfield with serious injuries.

England, who also suffered serious injuries was taken to Mercy Springfield by ambulance.

According to the arrest report, England was also cited for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway and for driving an off-road vehicle on the highway.
