Aspire Scholarship Program fundraising gala/masquerade ball set

(From the Aspire Scholarship Program)

The Aspire Scholarship Program will host its annual fundraising gala, the 2025 Aspire Masquerade Ball: Celebration of Success – Unmasking Potential, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 7:00 PM at St. Paul’s Church, 2423 W. 26th St., Joplin, MO.

The evening will feature a keynote address by guest speaker Megan Long, dinner catered by Mythos, and an opportunity to celebrate Aspire Scholarship recipients. Guests are invited to wear masquerade attire, though it is optional.

The Aspire Scholarship Program, founded in 2010, helps low-income, single parents in Jasper and Newton Counties pursue professional degrees at colleges, universities, or technical schools. By reducing financial barriers, Aspire empowers single parents to complete their education, secure meaningful employment, and create brighter futures for their families.

“Education is one of the best tools we have to combat poverty,” said an Aspire representative. “Every scholarship awarded helps break the cycle and opens the door to new opportunities for parents and their children.”

The Masquerade Ball is Aspire’s largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from tickets, tables, and sponsorships directly fund scholarships that change lives in our community.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now at www.AspireScholarship.org

Celebrate success. Unmask potential. Build brighter futures.
