TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Lane Closure, Delays at Routes 60 & HH in Newton Co. Beginning Week of Sept. 1
Where: U.S. Route 60 & Newton County Route HH (Carl Sweeney Parkway) east of Neosho
When: Beginning week of September 1 for up to 60 days
Traffic Impacts
North side of U.S. Route 60/Route HH (Carl Sweeney Parkway) intersection CLOSED for up to 60 days beginning week of September 1
Route HH traffic approaching Route 60 from the north will have no access to Route 60 while intersection is CLOSED
Drivers will have access to all businesses north of Route 60
Route HH traffic approaching Route 60 from the south will have no access to Route HH north of the intersection, but will have access to Route 60 via a temporary bypass
Drivers traveling east- or westbound on Route 60 will not be affected, but will have no access to Route HH north of the intersection
No signed detours
Drivers urged to find alternate routes

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
This work is part of a project to make improvements at six (6) intersections along U.S. Route 60 between Newton County Route Y east of Seneca and Missouri Route 97 in Barry County near the Monett Regional Airport. More information can be found by going to the project website.
