With a new year featuring many elections on the schedule – from local topics in the spring, primaries in the summer and a general election in the fall – the next edition of “Newsmakers” on KGCS-TV focuses on local election procedures and plans.
Jasper County Clerk Charlie Davis sits down with host and KGCS general manager, Judy Stiles, to discuss everything from voter registration to the election-day process.
The show will air nightly this week at 5:30 p.m., and will hit the KOAM-TV airwaves on Saturday, January 11, at 5:30 a.m. It’s also posted on the station’s YouTube channel, “KGCS Missouri Southern.”
KGCS programming can be seen on channel 21. It is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
