A Wentworth man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 8:45 p.m. Monday on Lawrence County Road 1060 three miles west of Freistatt.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 33-year-old Wentworth man traveled of the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, then traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence and a tree and overturned.
Lawrence County Assistant Coroner Shelby Berry pronounced the driver dead at the scene at 9:08 p.m.
The fatality was the 106th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
