Missouri Southern to hold safe Halloween event
(From Southern News Service)The Residence Life Association and the Campus Recreation Department at Missouri Southern State University will sponsor a Safe Halloween event on Sunday, Oct. 31.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second floor of Billingsly Student Center. Families can bring their children to trick-or-treat in a safe environment.
Josh Doak, director of Residence Life, said this year’s event will look a little different from previous years.
“The event will be scaled back for COVID safety reasons,” he said. “It will allow kids to walk more quickly through the candy stations and prevent large clusters of people from congregating.”
Craft stations and games will not be offered this year, he said.
Admission is free and open to the public.
