Seneca Police Department thanks public for help capturing suspect

The Seneca Police Department would like to thank the residents in the area of Bethel Rd and Jute Rd for the information leading to the apprehension of the suspect from the pursuit on 12/14/21. 

The suspect, Carl Rice Jr, was taken into custody by the Newton County Sheriff's Department with the assistance of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department and the Eastern Shawnee Tribal Police Department. 

Rice was transported to the Newton County Jail on several warrants (felony and misdemeanor) as well as new charges from the pursuit.
