Neosho Police Officer of the Year – Officer Shadrack Scheppert

 
The Neosho Police Department is proud to recognize Officer Scheppert as our 2024 Police Officer of the Year. This award is presented each year to recognize outstanding performance throughout the previous year.

The award is presented to a police officer who consistently performs their duties at the highest level, and Officer Scheppert has exemplified that standard throughout the year.

Officer Scheppert has repeatedly gone above and beyond what is expected. He has volunteered to outfit new patrol vehicles and maintain speed detection equipment, tasks that require extensive research and communication with vendors, ultimately reducing departmental costs. In addition, Officer Scheppert steps in to cover staffing shortages, to ensure the continued safety and effectiveness of our operations within the community.

His dedication, professionalism, and team-first attitude are a reflection of the values we hold as a department. Officer Scheppert’s commitment to service reflects great credit upon himself and the Neosho Police Department.
