According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Dustin L. Halverson, 18, Granby, ran off the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, ejecting Halvorson.
Halvorson was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
