Joplin woman injured in collision near Carl Junction

A Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 10:50 a.m. today on Elmwood Road, two miles south of Carl Junction.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Ford Mustang driven by Sheila A. Brown, 44, Joplin, failed to stop and struck a Dodge 3500 driven by Devin K. Plassman, 26, Joplin, in the side.

Brown was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
