(From the Carl Junction Police Department)Due to the inclement weather, the Carl Junction Police Department has initiated emergency road conditions. Under these conditions, the department asks all drivers to only venture out if it is necessary.
If you are involved in an accident and no one is injured, the drivers are to clear the roadway, exchange information including names, addresses, phone numbers, insurance companies, and policy numbers. Officers will respond to any accident involving injuries or where one of the drivers leaves the scene without exchanging information.
Drivers who are involved in a non-injury accident during the storm and would like an accident report may come to the Carl Junction Police Department after the weather conditions improve and file a report or call 417-649-7070.
Under these conditions, the department asks all drivers to only venture out if it is necessary.
