(From the Webb City R-7 School District)Please help us welcome Mrs. Denise Powley as the Assistant Principal of Webster Primary Center and Webb City Middle School beginning the 2025-26 school year.
This year marks her 22nd in public education. She has taught and held various leadership positions across every grade level in both Early Childhood and Upper Elementary. During her career, she spent over a decade serving in the Cassville and Carthage School Districts, as well as teaching a few years in Texas. Most recently, she worked in the mountains of New Mexico as an Academic and Behavior Specialist and an Elementary School Administrator.
Mrs. Powley holds bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Texas Tech University, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialty from Drury University, and an Administrator Degree from CES in New Mexico.
Mrs. Powley and her husband, Gerald, have 5 young adult children who they raised here in Southwest Missouri. Her free time is spent outdoors either hiking, camping, or spending time with family and friends.
