(From the Joplin Fire Department)We have been receiving reports of a person identifying themselves as Cody Lee with Fire Safety Programs, is soliciting funds stating it is to help “Joplin Area Fire Departments”. We have also heard they are trying to sell magnets and in some cases has given area firefighters names to help make it seem more legitimate.
To our knowledge there are no area fire departments working with this person or company for any type of fund raising. Please do not donate or sponsor anything from this individual.
