Video- C. J. Huff provides information on opening of new schools
In this video from KSN's Living Well program, Joplin R-8 Superintendent C. J. Huff tells host Gary Bandy about events surrounding the opening of East Middle School, Soaring Heights Elementary School, and Irving Elementary School. The segment aired Friday. Since then, the scheduled unveiling this afternoon and opening tomorrow have been canceled due to the weather.

I'm very excited for the students and staff as they move into their new and permanent homes. What a milestone for this city. I find it curious, however, that Dr. Huff never looks at the camera and seems very subdued throughout the interview. I hope he is more excited than he seems here, since we followed his lead in voting for these schools.
