(From the Barton County Sheriff's Office)On January 8th, 2023, at 10:27pm the Barton County Sheriff’s Department received a call-in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred at Lamarti’s truck stop in Lamar Heights.
The suspect entered the store and brandished a handgun demanding cash. The suspect then left the store with unknown amount of cash.
The suspect entered the passenger seat of what we believe to be a red in color Ford escape. The vehicle then fled North on Interstate 49.
Suspect described as a Black male with tattoos over both eyes, tattoo on his right hand wearing a black Nike hoodie with grey sweatpants and white shoes.

Sounds like the same suspect that robbed Casey's at Stones corner. He's either headed back to Kansas City or St Louis where he came from.
