Traffic stop at Sarcoxie Kum and Go nets 32 pounds of marijuana, two arrests

On 12-31-2022 at approximately 10:00 AM a Jasper County K-9 Deputy stopped a vehicle on the Kum and Go parking lot in Sarcoxie for a registration violation. 

During the stop, approximately 32 pounds of Marijuana was located inside the vehicle. 

Wylette Overton, 31, of Oklahoma City OK. and Rodrick Richey, 33, also of Oklahoma City, OK. were arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center in Carthage. 

Charges were sent to the Prosecutors Office for review and both individuals were charged with Delivery Of A Controlled Substance (Felony) 

Overton posted a bond of $25,000 and Richey has a bond of $35,000, he remains in custody.
