01/28/2025 Officers were dispatched to an assault in the 700 block of Mill St. Parties separated for the night. Probable cause packets were sent to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney for consideration of charges.
01/29/2025 Officer met another city employee in the 800 block of Poplar Street due to someone stealing electricity. Investigation continues.
01/31/2025 Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft not in progress. Stolen item was returned and no charges filed.
01/31/2025 Officer tool a report of a stolen phone at Walmart. Investigation continues.
02/01/2025 Officers were dispatched to Walmart regarding a trespassing in progress. Suspect was placed under arrest for Trespassing and Stealing. Drug paraphernalia found on the suspect was placed into evidence with charges pending lab results.
02/01/2025 Officers were dispatched to the area of the 1000 block of Mill St in reference to an intoxicated driver. Suspect was transported to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office for testing and issued 2 citations, one for Driving While Intoxicated and the second for Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol.
02/01/2025 Officer responded to the 1400 block of Poplar St for a domestic dispute. Parties separated for the evening.
02/03/2025 Officer responded to the 1200 of Broadway for a report of property damage. Investigation continues.
