Monett pedestrian struck by car, injured
A 29-year-old Monett man was injured in a car-pedestrian accident 5:48 p.m. today on East Daniel Drive a half-mile west of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 21-year-old Mount Vernon man struck the pedestrian in the roadway.
The pedestrian was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
