The Barton County 911 center received a report of a structure fire (Barn) at 109 SW 40th Rd around 11 a.m.
The Lamar Fire Department responded along with the Barton County Ambulance, and Deputies of the Sheriff's Office.
The Jasper Fire Department also responded for mutual aid. The fire is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike.
