Two injured, including Joplin woman, in collision in Lafayette County

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 2:50 p.m. Saturday on Route E, a half-mile south of Route FF in Lafayette County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Twyla P. Schieber, 67, Mayview, struck a 1995 Dodge Dakota driven by Christopher J. Caswell, 28, Peculiar.

Caswell and a passenger, Kambrea C. Trickett, 28, Joplin, were treated for moderate injuries at Centerpoint Hospital, Independence.
