Three injured in head-on collision in Lanagan

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:45 a.m. today on Route EE in Lanagan.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Laney M. Russell, 19, Decatur, Arkansas, crossed the center line and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo LT driven by Cheryl L. Moraski, 72, Lanagan, head on.







Lanagan and Russell were treated for serious and minor injuries, respectively, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

A passenger in the Moraski vehicle, Roberta Tallman, 58, Lanagan, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman.
