Education Commissioner congratulates Joplin High School teacher for receiving MIlken Award
In her monthly video, Education Commissioner Chris Nicastro congratulates Joplin High School teacher Tobin Schultz, who recently received the highly-prized Milken award, which comes ith $25,000.
The commission also talks about the State Board of Education's decision not to give accreditation to the Kansas City School District and the board's purchase not only of standardized tests, but also of a series of practice tests, Acuity. The Joplin R-8 School District has been using Acuity for several years.
