Wind causing significant fire conditions in western Missouri

THIS AFTERNOON...WINDS WILL BECOME WESTERLY AND REMAIN STRONG
AND GUSTY...WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH AT TIMES. AS A
DRIER AIRMASS BUILDS INTO THE REGION...IT WILL COMBINE WITH THE
STRONG WINDS TO PRODUCE ELEVATED TO SIGNIFICANT FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN
MISSOURI.
