The Webb City High School Speech and Debate Team has had an amazing season this year and eight students qualified for Nationals!
This is a new record for WCSD.
The qualifying tournament for Nationals was canceled so this year students were selected by a bidding system based on their achievements this season.
Archer Cole, Lilly Shea, and McKenzie Jones will be representing Webb City in Student Congress with Caden Brite in Program of Oral Interpretation, Henry Anger, and Rees Massoth in Duo Interpretation, and Silas Drake and Evan Garrison in Policy Debate.
We are so proud of how hard this year’s team has worked! Nationals are being held as an online tournament this year in the third week of June.
