Granby man killed in car-motorcycle crash on 86

A Granby man was killed in a two-vehicle collision 5 p.m. Wednesday on MO 86, two miles north of Racine.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Honda motorcycle driven by Cody K. O'Neill, 28, Granby, crossed the center line and struck a 2017 GMC Sierra driven by James A. Ryan, 50, Seneca, at an angle.







Newton County Coroner Dale Owens pronounced O'Neill dead at the scene at 5:15 p.m.

The fatality was the fifth this month and the 38th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
