Joplin teen injured in two-vehicle accident

A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:40 p.m. Monday on Loop 49, two miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Honda Fit driven by Richard A. Jordan, 18, Joplin, was attempting to cross Loop 49 and was struck by a 1999 Ford F-250 driven by Travis Creswell, 50, Joplin.

Jordan was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
