Route K/Jordan Creek Bridge CLOSED for Replacement in Dade Co. Beginning Week of March 18
The Dade County Route K bridge over Jordan Creek west of Everton will be CLOSED for up to 120 days while contractor crews replace the bridge starting the week of March 18, 2024, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Contractor crews will replace the current single-lane bridge with a new two-lane structure. The project also includes adding new barrier walls, guardrail, object markers and permanent striping.
Traffic Impacts
All lanes of Route K CLOSED where crews are working
Drivers will have access to entrances at either end of the bridge, but will not be able to drive through the work zone
No signed detour
Drivers urged to find alternate routes to avoid work zone
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling delays will alter the work schedule.
This bridge was built in 1957 and carries approximately 400 vehicles per day.
This contract also includes replacing the Dade County Route D bridge over Horse Creek northwest of Lockwood and rehabilitation of the Missouri Route 215 bridge over Stockton Lake north of Dadeville. The Route 215 bridge was completed in 2023 and the Route D bridge project is currently underway.
