Neosho man cited for felony DWI, Joplin woman injured in collision at Carthage city limits

 (Note: Inside Joplin published a post on this accident Saturday before the Highway Patrol posted the DWI citation against the driver of one of the vehicles.)

A Neosho man was cited for felony driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle collision 11:40 a.m. Saturday on Route HH at the west Carthage city limits, in which two people were injured

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chevrolet Express driven by Gary L. Vaughn, 30, Neosho, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2008 Toyota Yaris driven by Jayline R. Jiminez, 26, Joplin.

Vaughn, who was also cited for failure to yield and for not having a driver's license, and Jiminez were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
