Joplin Fire Department investigating cause of house fire at 503 N. Jackson

On Wednesday, 31 July 2019, at 2:30 AM the Joplin Fire Department responded to a report of a residential structure fire at 503 N Jackson. The first fire crew arrived on scene at 2:37 AM to find a one-story wood framed house with fire showing. Crews attacked the fire via the front door and extinguished it. Fire crews remained on scene until 4:55 AM.

There were no injuries to firefighting crews or civilians.










The Joplin Fire Department responded with 7 units and 19 personnel and was assisted by the Joplin Police Department and METS Ambulance Service.

The cause of fire remains under investigation.

  1. He killed live animals and left this poor wife of his and his children with nothing. Their is only 1 cure for this and it dont seem like the police force gave a damn by letting him go. He needs to be locked up for some years to really think about what he has done to his natural loving family at home. He has lost his mind and needs server help mentally help. Prayers to my bestfriend and her kids.

  2. Damn he's crazy. He had every intention to kill her and their kid. Her older kids dad died already for sake. Now they have nothing.
