Joplin man charged with DWI after causing four-vehicle accident on Kodiak Road

A Joplin man was charged with driving while intoxicated (drugs), following a four-vehicle accident 5:35 p.m.. Sunday on Kodiak Road, a half mile north of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Dodge Durango driven by Robert K. Wilson, 40, Joplin, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2005 Ford F-150 driven by William C. Wennhold, 37, Neosho.







The Wennhold vehicle began to spin, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2018 GMC Canyon driven by Donald M. Franks, 68, Neosho, and a 2005 Volkswagen Beetle driven by Chelsi C. Cargile, 17, Neosho.

Wilson was treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.
