Granby man suffers serious injuries in collision between semi and 1928 tractor

A Granby man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:40 p.m. today on U. S. 60 at Raccoon Road two miles east of Granby.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1928 tractor driven by a 66-year-old Granby man was partially on the shoulder and making a left turn when it was struck on the side by a passing 2025 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by a 48-year-old Carthage man.

The Granby man was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
