South Indiana Avenue closed south of 32nd Street in Joplin

Drivers traveling on South Indiana Avenue past 32nd Street will need to use a detour at 36th Street, due to an unexpected road closure.

The closure is necessary due to instability caused by boring operations related to a sanitary sewer project, which has rendered the roadway unsafe for traffic. 

The detour route is marked, and drivers are encouraged to use caution if traveling in this area. This closure will remain in place until further notice.

The City appreciates your patience as this infrastructure improvement is completed.
