Kathern McRae, 19, Carthage, received moderate injuries during a one-car accident 9 p.m. Monday, two miles north of Joplin on Travis Acres Road.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, Ms. McRae drove off the road and struck a tree. She was taken to Freeman West.
