Congratulations to the participants in the MATHCOUNTS Chapter Contest at MSSU Saturday. TJ’s team of Olivia Renfro, Lewis Weller, Lane Wilson, and Coleman Yantis finished in 1st place overall. TJ students also won five of the top-10 places in the individual contest: 2nd place – Lewis Weller; 4th place – Savannah Dillard; 5th place – Coleman Yantis; 9th place – Aaron Wells; 10th place – Haaris Rehman. These students qualified for the state competition on March 8 in Columbia. In the countdown buzzer championship, Lewis Weller took 1st place and Savannah Dillard took 2nd place.
